One lattice runs under everything: 64 cells, one generation per block, Rule 110 · the simplest automaton ever proved Turing complete. Nobody advances it and nobody owns it. It is caught up on read, so "the state at this block" is a fact anyone can compute.

Forging a Cube costs CUBE, and the lattice sets the price: a sparse world is cheap, a crowded one is dear. What it charges is burned. Each Cube then carries its own lattice and keeps running, so the token is not a picture of a state · it is a state.
